Description
Know you what it is to be a child? It is to be something very different from the man of today. It is to have a spirit yet streaming from the waters of baptism, it is to believe in love, to believe in loveliness, to believe in belief. It is to be so little that the elves can reach to whisper in your ear, it is to turn pumpkins into coaches, and mice into horses, lowness into loftiness, and nothing into everything, for each child has its fairy godmother in its own soul.
These lines by Francis Thompson have been etched deep within my mind since the first time I read them when I was eleven years old. It so aptly describes what childhood is, to just everybody who reads those beautifully crafted words. The adorable girl in the frame above is my niece, celebrating her 2nd birthday with the people who just can’t seem to get enough play time with her. And no wonder she was the center of attraction, all day long. The party was at Waves, New Delhi, India.

Childhood is the best phase of anyone's life and the irony is, when we are a child ; we never realize that. It is only when we've grown up , that we realize the beauty and purity of childhood. I liked this shot the best till now.
