Happiness That Was Destined To Be Hers

To hear those never-heard, whispering, broken voices,
To visualize the never-seen colors, shapes and sizes,
To fly away and seek those ethereal worlds,
To befriend another soul,
To be a lantern when the darkness sets in,
To be the eyes of an eagle, summit of a mountain,
To be a wave understanding the influence of the moon,
To be a tree and feel happy for the human being sitting in my shade,
To be the just another pedestrian walking on the streets,
To be a smile on the face of a woman,
And shine in her memory,
Breath the moment, she couldn't,
Happiness that was destined to be hers.

This was taken in Pushkar, Rajasthan, India, last year on the road trip with some of my best buddies. As memorable as that trip was, this shot isn't any less. Out of utter randomness and sheer luck, this woman going through her daily chores, and what seemed like a just another day for her, unknowingly made that particular day that much more special for me. I wish for her to be well wherever she is, and may god look down upon her favorably.
